The Prince's Countryside Fund

The Prince's Countryside Fund is, in their words, "a unique collaboration of brands and businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy."

We're very proud to be part of it, for a number of reasons. We think the great British countryside contains stunning scenery and beautiful wildlife that must be maintained. We also want to help British farmers develop sustainable businesses and support local communities, as well as the British economy.

We have been dedicated to sustainable farming since 1972, back then it just seemed to be the right thing to do. Now we call it our Countryside Commitment and it means that we only use grain grown on British farms by farmers who dedicate 10% of their land to creating homes for wildlife.

This and our participation in the Prince's Countryside Trust are both things we're very proud of here at Jordans. And our mums were just as proud that we met the Prince of Wales too.
