Hooray for the East of England show

Posted by Rachel Marston 21 Jun 2010 9:33am

We spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the East of England show and boy did we have a good time. We decided to go back to our roots with taking a stand at county shows, you see when Bill & David Jordan started making breakfast cereals in the 1970's they made the cereal during the week and then sold it at county shows at the weekends during the summer. So we decided it was about time we revived the tradition and dug the original Model A Ford the Jordans once used to go round the show circuit again. We had converted the back of the van so that we could hand out samples, complete with Yeo Valley Organic milk, we were also selling bags of Muesli and Crunchy Oats to anyone who liked what they had just tasted, and we were delighted yuo kept us so busy! Everyone seemed to love the muesli and Crunchy Oats they tasted, with plenty of people converted to the 'modern muesli' we make, their expectation being a bowl of dust with a few raisins on top, it was very satisfying to show people what really delicious muesli is like. We would love to hear from anyone who came to the stand to tell us what they thought, so please do leave your comments below.
