Fortnum & Mason's Bees

In April I was lucky enough to go and meet Fortnum & Mason's bees. They live in four beautifully crafted hives on the roof of the Fortnum & Mason building in the heart of London. There were quite a few buzzing around and they seemed very at home in their location with a bee's eye view of the city.

The Bees Are Back in Town

Yesterday we were at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to witness two colonies, that's 20,000 bees being returned to the gardens. The gardens have had hives for many years but like so many hives across the UK, the bees died out last year.
