Olney Pancake Race

We like a quirky local tradition, and the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake race held in Olney fits the bill. Since 1445, local ladies have dressed in housewife gear and run around the town flipping pancakes. Olney is only thirty miles away from us in Biggleswade, the race starts at 11.55 tomorrow but there will be entertainment from 10.30am. Visit Olney's website here for further information.
