I have a two hour commute to work during the week : ( In order not to miss the most important meal of the day & also so i don't scare people looking like a zombie without my morning perk, i put my cereals in my Thermos mug! Saves precious time, no spillages & plenty of envious glances from fellow empty stomach train commuters.
Lazy weekend breakfasts are an age-old tradition in my house - and Jordan's oats have become a central part of them! Every Saturday we take it in turns to make the porridge and carry it in ceremoniously before we all sit down and tuck in :-) My Dad learnt this from his dad, who learnt it from his father... I'm definitely passing it on to my kids!
Breakfast First it's the pills - well, I am getting old. Then some Country Crisp - it's healthy I'm told. And then to brighten my breakfast it has to be A wonderfully refreshing, large cup of tea. Which tea you ask, I've put them all to the test And I have to say that Twinings is the best!
My friend and I take our breakfast to the beach and sit wrapped in blankets while we chat and enjoy a picnic watching the seabirds. Daft but great fun.
If the forecast is for a clear start to the following day, I like to set the alarm for just before dawn and watch the sunrise from my window with a bowl of Country Crisp. Of course, I then go back to sleep until a more civilised hour ....
