New Kestrels

We thought you might like to see a picture of a couple of kestrel chicks which have been born on one of our nature friendly farms. The farm belongs to Stephen Honeywood in Suffolk and he has been watching closely for signs of when the kestrel chicks might take flight. Since becoming a nature friendly farm thanks to taking up the Conservation Grade scheme Bill Jordan helped to pioneer 25 years ago, Stephen has noticed an increase in wildlife. "We have just had 75 species of birds recorded on the farm which is great news." he said.
